Eco-Products, a Novolex brand and a provider of foodservice packaging, has expanded its GreenStripe range of compostable products.
The company has added a new range of compostable paper bags, cutlery bags, pinch bottom bags, insulated and non-insulated sandwich wraps, boxed interfolded deli paper, French fry bags, and multipurpose bags that are grease-resistant to its GreenStripe line.
These products are manufactured in the US by Duro and Bagcraft, which are sister business units of Novolex.
The newly added paper bags, available in different sizes, are designed with a heavy-duty, self-opening style to withstand the most demanding uses.
Eco-Products said that its paper bags carry Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, indicating that the bags’ materials are sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Available as part of the Eco-Products’ bundle, the new products are made without using added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Eco-Products confirmed that all its new products have received certification from the Biodegradable Products Institute, ensuring they meet the standards for composability across commercial facilities.
Eco-Products Product Development director Nicole Tariku said: “The need for well-labelled, certified-compostable solutions across the broader packaging mix continues to grow.
“These new wraps and bags are the latest addition to that mix and will help round out renewable and compostable takeout programmes for customers across the foodservice industry.”
Earlier this month, Eco-Products introduced a new packaging product line featuring labels to help consumers differentiate between compostable and non-compostable offerings.
