Digital printing systems supplier Screen USA has selected flexo material and technological solutions provider Anderson & Vreeland (A&V) as a distributor across North America.
A&V now offers Screen’s computer-to-plate devices, integrated workflows and inkjet printers designed for labelling, flexible packaging and folding cartons.
A&V digital business manager Lee Zerfass said that Screen’s packaging solutions complement its line-up of products, and the company can now serve a broader range of applications and markets.
"As we look to the future, A&V will continue to introduce technical innovation and forward-thinking solutions," Zerfass added.
Screen’s PlateRite FX series of digital imagers have been specifically designed to improve quality and productivity while reducing the cost of flexo and letterpress platemaking. The PlateRite FS series of digital imagers use laser imaging technology to produce plates at resolutions of up to 4,800dpi.
A&V also offers Screen’s EQUIOS Flexo series that provides integrated plate production solutions, with complete JDF and PDF capabilities for flexo and letterpress printing. The series is helpful in streamlining print management and simplifying production workflows with better efficiency.
Screen marketing and CTP / flexo products manager Eduardo "Wadie" Navarro said: "A&V’s strong sales and service organisation, combined with its extensive knowledge of flexographic printing, are important strengths that will help expand our production-enhancing packaging solutions in North America."
