Printing and packaging inks and coatings provider Flint Group has partnered with Heidelberg Japan KK for product distribution in Japan.
This collaboration will focus on the distribution of dayGraphica printing blanket in the country on behalf of FLINT Group.
With this partnership, Heidelberg will take over the local distribution responsibilities from Flint Group’s Day International business.
Flint Group offset packaging solutions senior commercial director Roy van der Pijl said: “We’re delighted to reinforce our position in Japan by reintroducing our dayGraphica printing blankets. Given Japan’s leadership in offset printing press manufacturing and innovation, Flint Group views Japan as a vital market for commercial and offset package printing.
“In the past, Day consumables met or exceeded customer expectations in terms of performance and reliability. Flint Group recognised the need to reconnect with the Japanese market again and deliver the value of Day’s innovative products with heightened service levels.”
The dayGraphica range are designed to deliver improved print contrast and density values for offset printing.
