A B rating signifies ‘environmental management’, indicating that FLINT Group has addressed its environmental footprint.

Notably, the company received even higher marks within specific areas, achieving A grades for scope 1 and 2 emissions and Business Water Impacts, and an A- grade for scope 3 emissions and Water Policy.

“Our positive rating is a testament to the work of our global team in minimising the environmental footprint and conserving water resources across our operations,” said Matthew Rowland-Jones, sustainability officer at Flint Group.

“Moreover, it underscores our commitment to transparent reporting and environmental management. This is vital as we work towards our 2030 environmental targets validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative and include a 46% reduction in scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and a reduction in water use by 5%.”

Flint Group’s sustainability strategy, known as the PRISM framework, takes a holistic approach, integrating environmental considerations into every facet of the business – People, Products, and the Planet.

This commitment aligns with the company’s core values and positions it as a leader in responsible business practices.

“Our overall B rating shows our commitment to reducing our impact in these critical areas, demonstrating that we are a partner of choice, helping to deliver a more sustainable future,” Rowland-Jones added.

By participating in CDP’s disclosure process, Flint Group joins a community of leading businesses worldwide that are driving environmental action through transparency and accountability.

This achievement further strengthens Flint Group’s reputation as a responsible and forward-thinking partner in the packaging supply chain.
