Duni Group, a supplier of dining and food packaging solutions, has announced plans to develop a new warehouse hub in Meppen, Germany.
This move is aimed at bolstering the competitiveness and scalability of the group’s logistics operations across Europe.
The facility will consolidate storage, distribution, and value-added services within a single location, marking a significant step in optimising the company’s supply chain.
The new warehouse hub will be situated in an industrial site in Meppen, chosen for its suitable infrastructure and proximity to the existing facilities in Bramsche/Osnabruck.
Duni Group’s vision is to develop a greenfield site into a warehouse and distribution centre, tailored to meet the company’s specific needs and objectives.
Duni Group chief logistics and technology officer Johan Crusefalk said: “The new warehouse in Meppen will be transformational to Duni Group’s logistics solution in Europe. The redesign of the warehouse will enhance competitiveness and scalability as well as contributing to our net-zero target.”
