ProAmpac, a flexible packaging and material science company, has introduced a new sustainable food to-go packaging solution.
Called RotiBag, the packaging serves as an alternative to traditional clamshell containers by reducing material usage.
It is available in various structures, including conventional, recycle-ready, and post-consumer recycled (PCR) options.
RotiBag comes with an integrated handle, making it suitable for hot grab-and-go items like rotisserie chicken and other prepared foods, while eliminating the need for secondary bags.
Its fog-resistant packaging ensures product visibility, maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the contents.
RotiBag’s sustainability options include a recycle-ready mono-material structure that performs similarly to multi-material alternatives and an optional inclusion of PCR content, which reduces the use of virgin resin.
