James Jones & Sons, a family owned and managed forest products company, has announced the expansion of its Pallets & Packaging Division through the acquisition of HG Timber.

Based in Buckingham, UK, HG Timber supplies range of standard and bespoke pallets and timber products to packaging, food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies in the UK and Europe.

The company boasts eight high-speed automated and robotic production lines that can produce 2-way and 4-way pallets.

HG Timber’s production lines are capable of producing more than 1.8 million timber products annually on a single shift basis.

HG Timber, with a trading history dating back to 1945, is currently managed by the third generation of the Theodoulou family.

This strategic move will allow James Jones & Sons to expand its product range, including pallets and racking systems.
