Horizontal packaging solutions manufacturer Hugo Beck has transformed the packaging operations of an instant noodle meal producer with its advanced servo X packaging line, tripling the company’s packaging capacity.

The enhancement aligns with the food production facility’s need for high-volume, reliable output to keep pace with the demands of the fast-moving instant meal market.

The unamed instant noodle meal producer, facing reliability issues with its previous side sealer packaging line, turned to Hugo Beck’s UK sales partner, Yorkshire Packaging Systems (YPS), for a more efficient solution.

Hugo Beck’s servo X, coupled with a double chamber shrink tunnel, offers throughput capabilities of up to 10,000 cycles per hour.

This high performance is attributed to the servo-driven motor and the continuous motion transverse sealing bar, which eliminates stop/start delays, thereby optimising the production process.

A key feature of servo X is its ability to create a side seal before the transverse seal, which is instrumental in producing tighter packs.
