Glass and plastic manufacturer Bormioli Rocco Pharma is set to strengthen its pharmaceutical glass packaging services in North America with the introduction of new packaging for parenteral drugs.

The company is now offering its Delta moulded Type I glass vials and a complete portfolio of glass and plastic containers to the market.

The company has also received US FDA approval to supply glass and plastic packaging for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and contract manufacturing organisations.

Bormioli Rocco Pharma’s Delta high-tech moulded glass vials for pharmaceutical injectables are available in various sizes and capacities.

The Delta packaging products provide higher hydrolytic resistance and internal surface homogeneity to the sensitive pharmaceuticals against delamination.

Bormioli Rocco Pharma caters to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical market with integrated glass and plastic containers, closures and accessories for packaging using new materials and technologies.

They include transparent and amber bottles in Type I, II, and III glass for a range of dosage forms, in addition to child-proof and tamper-evident closures.
