Nexeo Solutions has entered an agreement with Dutch-based extrudable adhesive resins supplier Yparex to expand and distribute its products to multiple European countries.
Yparex specialises in producing high-quality tie-layer resins, coupling agents, and compatibilisers.
The adhesive resins can be utilised in multiple applications as Yparex grades exhibit strong processing characteristics for blow moulding, blown film, cast film and extrusion coating.
Nexeo Solutions Plastics senior vice-president Shawn Williams said: “This partnership gives our customers access to high-performance adhesives for multilayer barrier packaging film, as well as solutions for polymer modification that are applicable across a broad range of industries.”
Following the collaboration, Nexeo Solutions’ application development engineers and commercial teams will be working together to fulfil customer requirements in meeting application-specific performance needs.
Yparex general manager Wouter van den Berg said: “Today’s packaging applications demand a number of material properties that cannot be generated by one single material.
