Antalis Packaging has extended its Geami WrapPak range to meet demand from retailers and e-commerce businesses, including a green alternative to bubble wrap.

The expanded range includes Geami WrapPak EX, Geami WraPak M and coloured tissue paper, aimed at meeting demand for eco-friendly, cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional bubble wrap.

The Geami WrapPak EX has been developed to serve smaller packaging environments and occasional packing.

With the ability to be placed anywhere at the retailer’s convenience, the Geami WrapPak EX offers an in-the-box presentation, the company stated.

Suitable for lower volume packaging, the Geami WrapPak M offers increased flexibility, reduces material handling and takes up less storage space.

Antalis noted that the Geami WrapPak expands into a 3D honeycomb structure with all paper cells locked firmly in place, avoiding the requirement for any tape or glue.

The Geami WrapPak is prepared using a cut-out kraft paper and a white tissue paper interleaf, which is placed through a converter.

Meanwhile, alongside the original white tissue, Antalis is also offering seven new colours, including black, red, apple, sky, citron, buttercup, and pink.
