UK packaging solutions specialist Parkside has reached a new collaboration agreement with France-based supplier and distributor Stratus Packaging.
Specialising in food and beverages, health and beauty, industry and chemicals sectors, Stratus designs, makes and distributes adhesive labels and shrink bands to IML for a range of industries, including agri-food, health and beauty, cosmetics and pharmaceutical.
The company has six sites, a subsidiary in Switzerland, a workforce of 300 people and a €50m turnover.
The partnership will provide Stratus with an opportunity to access the flexible packaging market in France.
Stratus sales and marketing director François Xavier Allilaire said: “Parkside is one of the leading manufacturers of compostable packaging solutions in Europe, so it is with pride that we are launching this new collaboration.
“This partnership will allow us to approach the flexible packaging market in France and Switzerland with a niche product, and we are extremely excited about this new relationship. This is the right time and place to be able to offer such a product on the market when customers are so environmentally conscious.”
