The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 90% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada packaging industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
British American Tobacco posted 5 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 25% over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 4 jobs and a 300% growth. Weston Foods (Canada) with 4 IT jobs and Lien Hwa Industrial with 3 jobs, recorded a 300% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Carrier Global recorded a 200% increase with 3 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.05%, up by 61.11% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 21.43% share, a growth of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 9.52% share, down 50% over June 2021.
