US-based primary packaging distributor TricorBraun has completed its acquisition of family-owned packaging supplier Cormack Packaging.
The two companies entered a purchase agreement last month. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Primarily operating in Australia and New Zealand, Cormack supplies rigid packaging for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, industrial and household cleaning industries.
The addition is intended to add to TricorBraun’s portfolio and extend its presence into Australia and New Zealand.

TricorBraun supplies plastic and glass containers, closures, dispensers, tubes and flexibles for a range of customers and end markets in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.
To date, the company has acquired and supported the growth of 28 packaging companies.
Cormack is TricorBraun’s third acquisition this year and will now operate as Cormack Packaging, a TricorBraun company.

In July, TricorBraun acquired SGB Packaging as part of efforts to expand its global supplier network.
SGB Packaging is based in New Jersey and specialises in supplying packaging for the cosmetics, fragrance, skin, hair and personal care and make-up industries.
