Canadian flexible packaging manufacturer TC Transcontinental has acquired US-based die-cut lid and label maker HS Crocker for an undisclosed sum.
The addition of HS Crocker is intended to expand TC Transcontinental Packaging’s lidding and label capabilities.
It is the company’s ninth flexible packaging acquisition.
TC Transcontinental Packaging president Thomas Morin said: “HS Crocker is a die-cut lidding leader in North America, serving markets that are highly strategic for us.
“The integration of HS Crocker’s Huntley facility to our platform will broaden our packaging solution portfolio, especially in the dairy, coffee lids, shelf-stable and chilled desserts markets, and provide significant cross-selling opportunities with our respective customers.”
Based in Huntley, Illinois, HS Crocker produces pressure-sensitive labels for customers in the pharmaceutical market and die-cut lids for the food, dairy and other markets.
