The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.72% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.59% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 0.63% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 76.71% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s packaging industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Nestle posted 67 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 458.33% over the previous month, followed by Fujitsu General with 43 jobs and a 4.44% drop. Unilever with 9 IT jobs and Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 7 jobs, recorded a 28.57% flat growth and a 16.67% flat growth, respectively, while Lego recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.09%, up by 47.31% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with an 11.8% share, registered a decline of 26.92% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Senior job ads with 1.86% share, up 200% over March 2022, while Entry Level postings accounted for 1.24%, recording a month-on-month decline of 85.71%.
