US-based hybrid packaging provider Berlin Packaging has acquired Andler Packaging Group, a value-added company that supplies containers and closures.
Founded in 1893, Andler Packaging began as a bottle recycler and later expanded its business by supplying plastic, glass and metal containers and closures.
The company operates multiple locations across Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland and Florida.
It caters to a wide range of markets, with expertise in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
In addition, Andler Packaging provides customers with value-added services, including printing and labelling capabilities, proprietary custom tools, and repacking and sterilisation services.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

The acquisition is Berlin Packaging’s second in North America and its fourth worldwide so far this year.
The company will retain all of Andler Packaging’s employees and locations.

Earlier this month, Berlin Packaging acquired Verrerie du Comtat, a France-based supplier of glass packaging for the wine and olive oil industries.
