US-based company Ball’s IT hiring rose 8.5% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 5.2% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.6% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 3.86% growth over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Ball IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Ball, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.59% in July 2022, and a 9.52% rise over June 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 26.9% in July 2022, and registered growth of 14.71%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 11.72% in July 2022, a 5.56% drop from June 2022.

Europe stood next with 4.14%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 3.45% share and a 66.67% rise over June 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 92.41% share in July 2022, a 9.84% growth over June 2022. Brazil featured next with a 3.45% share, up 66.67% over the previous month. Serbia recorded a 2.76% share, a decline of 20% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Ball IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 47.59%, up by 2.99% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 37.24% share, a growth of 5.88% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 13.79% share, up 17.65% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.38%, recording a month-on-month decline of 60%.
