Anheuser-Busch owned Bud Light has introduced NFL team-themed packaging before the start of the season, a convention followed by the company every year.

This season, the new beer packaging will be available in cans and aluminium bottles representing the different teams participating in the NFL.

In total, Bud Light has introduced new designs representing 28 NFL teams, as well as a special 36-pack featuring all 32 NFL teams.

The new package has already reached specific markets and it is expected to be available nationally later this month.

Anheuser-Busch NFL Partnerships and Strategy director Anna Rogers said: “NFL team packaging has become something fans look for from Bud Light year after year.

“We are proud to continue that tradition and give fans another way to support their favourite teams while enjoying NFL football with their friends.

“We are also very excited to roll out NFL packaging on aluminum bottles for the first time in addition to cans.”

"NFL team packaging has become something fans look for from Bud Light year after year."

This year, the Bud Light cans and aluminium bottles exhibit team logos and a catchphrase for the respective NFL franchise.

Furthermore, every can will feature Snapcodes that can be used by the customers to win Super Bowl LII tickets by taking a photo of the can using Snapchat.

Bud Light has also decided to introduce a new television advertisement this season to facilitate brand promotion.

A premium light beer in the US, Bud Light was introduced in 1982 and resembles one of the flagship brands of Anheuser-Busch.
