Global plastic closures manufacturer Bericap is set to introduce its new tried-and-tested closure systems at this year’s drinktec event in Munich, Germany.
The company will showcase its two-piece sports closure, which features a transparent PP shell, a coloured HDPE pourer section, and a tear strip to identify tampering on the over-cap.
The closures will also be available with bridges that can be broken by moving the over-cap upward.
Bericap noted that the closure's BSDA-compliant Double Galileo hinge provides an opening angle of 180°.
The company will also exhibit its lighter 28mm PCO1881 flat closure, which has been developed for the still water and non-carbonated soft drink markets.
With N2 validation, the closures can be used to pressurise lightweight bottles for increased stability.
