November 2022 has seen a decrease of 14.6% in the overall hiring activity when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 2.34% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2022, registering an increase of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.
Computer and Information Analysts Occupations leads by classification in November 2022
Computer and Information Analysts Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 33.33% in November 2022, a 33.33% rise over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 23.33% in November 2022, marking a 30% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 20% in November 2022, a 25% drop from October 2022.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers registered a share of 13.33% in November 2022, a 55.56% decline over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in South & Central America’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 133.33% in the overall IT recruitment activity of South & Central America’s packaging industry during November 2022 over previous month.
Procter & Gamble posted 8 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Nestle with 7 jobs and a 250% growth. Red Bull with 5 IT jobs and Mondelez International with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Empresas CMPC recorded a 100% increase with 4 job postings during November 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in South & Central America’s packaging industry
Brazil commanded a leading presence in the region’s packaging industry IT hiring activity with a 35% share in November 2022, a 27.59% decrease over October 2022. Costa Rica featured next with a 15% share, down 18.18% over the previous month. Colombia recorded a 13.33% share, a flat growth compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.33%, down by 5.66% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5% share, down 75% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.67%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
