Atlantic Packaging Products and Canada Fibers have broadened their strategic alliance to facilitate the recovery of used materials for the former’s corrugated paper mills.

Both companies agreed to strengthen their alliance at a time when packaged goods manufacturers, retailers and legislators are attempting to increase upcycling of valuable resources.

Atlantic and Canada Fibers will now establish an integrated programme to support this initiative and help achieve waste diversion goals.

Atlantic Packaging official Irving Granovsky said: “Our corrugated packaging customers are increasingly looking for integrated sustainable packaging solutions, involving collection and processing of their used corrugated into new boxes.

"Canada Fibers is positioned to provide these services and enhance the closed-loop sustainable solutions we provide."
