Roberts PolyPro, a division of Pro Mach, is set to display its new can-carrying handles at the upcoming Pack Expo East event in Philadelphia, US.
Capable of carrying two, four, and six packs of craft beer, the new handles require 30% less plastic than traditional handles, and are available in various Pantone Matching System (PMS) colours.
According to Roberts PolyPro, the new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) handles are fully recyclable and can be reapplied to cans, making them easier to carry.
The handles also allow the cans to be closely stacked for improved packing.
Roberts PolyPro product manager Richard Brothers said: “Tabs that push to hold and lift to remove give the new handles their distinctive appearance.
“We know that craft brewers want to convey distinctiveness. We designed these new handles with that intent.
