VPK Packaging Group, a Belgium-based cardboard and paper provider, has acquired the corrugating operations of Peterson Packaging, a Norwegian company.
The acquisition involves six Peterson Packaging facilities that are located in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, which will continue to operate under the Peterson brand within the VPK Group.
The transaction will help VPK Packaging to expand in the Scandinavian market, as well as achieve more than €1bn in turnover.
Sun Chemical, a producer of printing inks and pigments, has acquired Flint Group’s European publication gravure ink business to boost its publication businesses.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Schoeller Allibert Services will raise €210m ($235.66m) by issuing five-year international bonds in a public offering.
