Both firms will work together to expand business in the country through sales of SIG Combibloc’s carton packaging for food and beverages, as well as the SIG filling system.
SIG Combibloc’s technology enables filling of beverages containing pieces of fruit or vegetables, cereal grains or jelly pearls.
The company’s filling machines can produce up to 24,000 packs per hour.
SIG Combibloc said that it sold about 31 billion carton packs last year to customers in the dairy, non-carbonated soft drinks and food sectors.
Since 1978, DNP has been providing cartons for use with soft drinks and alcoholic products, as well as filling systems.
The firm also produces aseptic filling systems, such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles, for food and beverage manufacturers.
SIG Combibloc produces a range of carton packs and openings, in addition to packaging solutions for products containing particulates.
The firm provides more than 300 packaging options, including the combidome carton bottle and combifit.
