Management Occupations drive packaging industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 19% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 60% year-on-year. Second highest were Production Occupations, which accounted for 15% and drop by 16% year-on-year, and third highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which were 34% of the new job postings and 47% lower year-on-year.

The highest number of jobs were posted by DS Smith with 92, followed by Ball with 42, while the highest increase was at Ardagh Group at 21%.
