Schneider Packaging Equipment has opened a new training laboratory at its headquarters in New York, US, in a bid to train its customers on equipment in a controlled environment.
The modern lab will enable customers to learn specific technical skills without decelerating or halting their production lines, helping to lower the learning curve once the new system is in place.
The lab’s training courses includes an introduction to Schneider robotics, general Fanuc robotics, unit load creation using pallet pro and Schneider pallet generation software, as well as robot troubleshooting.
Schneider aftermarket services director Jim Kent said: "Schneider Packaging Equipment now offers training on everything from programmable logic controllers to robotics.
"By training customers in a classroom environment with a training cell and structured labs, we know their experience will directly translate to the equipment they are running in their facilities."
The lab also offers programmable logic controllers (PLCs) training, including introduction to PLCs, Schneider PLC logic, troubleshooting PLCs, as well as PLC and HMI fundamentals.
