Asian moulded fibre packaging production company RyPax and Scotland-based CelluComp have unveiled a new all-fibre bottle solution.
The new bottle features an interior coating that provides a biodegradable and renewable solution for a widely used packaging design.
Both the companies worked together to develop a new pulp fibre using a combination of Curran, bamboo, and bagasse.
CelluComp CEO Christian Kemp-Griffin said: “Integrating RyPax’s and CelluComp’s proven technology, materials and production expertise to produce the industry’s first all-fibre bottle at scale is a major evolution for the industry.”
This innovation is expected to help manufacturers advance environmental packaging by eliminating the requirement for plastic liners.
The new bottle features an advanced finish that is anticipated to attract luxury brands in the beverage, beauty, and cosmetic industries, stated RyPax.
