US-based Anver is offering new, small vacuum cups that are supplied with fittings and complete suspensions.
The new 1.5 Bellows vacuum cups are available in two sizes and come in two different material options, silicone and neoprene.
With a capability to pick and place watch batteries, the robust cups are also gentle enough to handle pharmaceuticals.
Featuring a soft seal lip, each cup has spring action and will be able to handle flexible and stacked loads that are of curved or lightly textured/corrugated nature.
The cups can be used in any orientation and are offered in diameters ranging from 0.24in to 0.38in.
According to Anver, the Bellows vacuum cups have been designed to duplicate the function of mechanical springs, as well as ball-joint connectors in a smaller package.

Applications that require food-grade approval from the FDA Title 21 or German specification BGVV (BGA) Part XV for contaminant-free load handling preferably select Anver’s silicone.
The cups can also be used to handle hot-moulded parts, electronics, or objects requiring level compensation for low head-room.
