Eco-Products has expanded its Vanguard product line with the introduction of two new sets of lids – one for paper hot cups, and the other for moulded fibre ovals, rectangles, and bowls.

The lids for hot cups are available in 8oz and 12oz-24oz sizes.

The lids suitable for moulded containers also come in various sizes, ranging from 24oz bowls to 48oz ovals. Additional sizes will be introduced in 2024.

The rectangular lids in particular feature patent-pending ‘snap-on’ corners, offering audible confirmation that the lid is securely in place.

Meanwhile, the oval and bowl lids come with tabs that fold under the rim to lock them in place.

These lids are also produced without added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The Vanguard line already offers a range of compostable plates, bowls, clamshells, containers, and lids.

In March this year, Eco-Products obtained CMA-windrow technology approval for its Vanguard clamshell.

The Vanguard clamshell is claimed to be the first moulded fibre item to contain no PFAS.
