Liquid filling and assembly machinery manufacturer TurboFil Packaging Machines has developed new Multi-Head Hybrid Capper MH120 and Reditrace Pharmaceutical Track and Trace.
The MH120 flexible chuck capper offers servo-controlled capping, and allows changing of parallel gripper belts for container handling. It has the capacity to cap 120 containers every minute.
TurboFil Marketing and Business Development vice-president Deborah Smook said: "Understanding our customers’ need for chuck capping on a more flexible platform, we’re offering the latest in servo motor technology, bringing together gentle capping, enhanced reliability, and super easy changeover."
Developed in partnership with Miracom Computer for the pharmaceutical supply chain, TurboFil’s Reditrace Pharmaceutical Track and Trace is a cloud-based system that can be used with any packaging line, as it is hardware independent.
This will provide and track serial numbers as products are packaged and distributed, as well as offer inventory management from packaging line to distribution.
Reditrace solution will store data locally prior to upload, in order to avoid downtime during software upgrades or line outage.
TurboFil will present these two new solutions at the 2015 PackExpo East show in Pennsylvania.
