In the final countdown to the eagerly awaited Packaging Innovations & Empack 2024 event, the organisers, Easyfairs, are gearing up for what promises to be the most successful edition yet.
Growing in size and scale
Scheduled for 21-22 February at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England, UK, the two-day event is poised to surpass its previous editions in both size and scale.
The organisers anticipate a record-breaking attendance, with representatives from renowned brands exploring the offerings of 400 of the world’s leading suppliers.
The success of last year’s event, where Easyfairs claims 80% of exhibitors quickly met their objectives, has led to an 80% rebooking rate for 2024.
Renowned brands such as Aldi, Cadbury, KFC, and Unilever are set to grace the exhibition, creating a diverse showcase of their packaging products and services.
Also among the 400 exhibitors securing their places are industry giants Huhtamaki, Mondi, and Graphic Packaging International.

“The debrief from last year’s event was a really rewarding process for us as a team. It was also an experience that showed us just how powerful the packaging sector can be when it comes together.”
Industry insights and influential speakers
This year’s heightened demand for free visitor passes is driven by a stellar lineup of speakers, including key opinion leaders Ben Edmonds, Fraser Doherty MBE, Tom Barton, and Catherine Conway.
Leading voices from Danone, TerraCycle, Tesco, and Defra will also provide a 360-degree view of the packaging industry.
Easyfairs said that exhibitors will show off a range of packaging innovations for the sector, from design to cutting-edge primary and secondary packaging, contract packing, e-commerce fulfilment, labelling and printing, and advanced packing and processing technology.
Networking and innovation
Packaging Innovations & Empack 2024 is not just a showcase; it’s a platform for networking and discussion.
With engaging presentations, Future Trailblazer awards, and the Packaging Showcase, attendees will gain insights into the latest developments across the packaging supply chain.
According to Stewart, the event is a catalyst for sparking creativity in the packaging sector in the future.
“Not only will it spark creativity in the packaging sector for 2024 and beyond, Packaging Innovations & Empack comprehensively addresses every facet of the packaging journey, uniting a range of experts from diverse industries.”
