Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Transportation and Material Moving Occupations, which accounted for 17% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were up by 900% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 15% and rise by 29% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 1800% of the new job postings and 73% higher year-on-year.

Top five companies in packaging industry accounted for 86% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Avery Dennison with 89, followed by AptarGroup with 25, while the highest increase was at Tetra Pak International at 36%.
