The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.34% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 144.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s packaging industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
British American Tobacco posted 10 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 100% over the previous month, followed by Spin Master with 5 jobs and a 400% growth. Philip Morris International with 3 IT jobs and Domtar with 2 jobs, recorded a 200% flat growth and a 100% flat growth, respectively, while Pernod Ricard recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.52%, down by 16.67% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with a 19.35% share, registered a decline of 14.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 16.13% share, down 16.67% over July 2021.
