The industry’s overall hiring increased by 70.94% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Top five packaging companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 321.74% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s packaging industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Unilever posted 35 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 250% over the previous month, followed by Zebra with 21 jobs and a flat growth. Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 16 IT jobs and PepsiCo with 14 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 250% flat growth, respectively, while Colgate-Palmolive recorded an increase of 22.22% with 11 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.7%, up by 44.23% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 40.26% share, registered an increase of 67.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.44% share, up 225% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.6%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
