The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.21% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.4% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.68% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Canada’s packaging industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s packaging industry in November 2022.
1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 29.63% in November 2022, registering a 27.27% decline over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 25.93% share, a decrease of 46.15% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 25.93%, registering a 78.79% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 11.11%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five packaging companies in Canada’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 34.62% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s packaging industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Nestle posted 5 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 400% over the previous month, followed by Agropur cooperative with 5 jobs and a 400% growth. Maple Leaf Foods with 3 IT jobs and Spin Master with 2 jobs, recorded a 25% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton recorded a decline of 88.89% with 2 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.37%, down by 42.42% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.22% share, registered a decline of 76% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.41% share, down 71.43% over October 2022.
