The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.95% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the packaging industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.68% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 0.51% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 28.26% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s packaging industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Panasonic posted 21 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 75% over the previous month, followed by Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV with 20 jobs and a 35.48% drop. The Coca-Cola with 9 IT jobs and Anheuser-Busch InBev with 6 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Unilever recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 88.41%, up by 15.09% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.25% share, registered an increase of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.35% share, down 70% over March 2022.
