AB Graphic International (ABG) and Kocher+Beck have agreed to buy Enprom Packaging, with the move expected to aid the growth of both companies.
Enprom Packaging is a Spanish labelling, converting and packaging equipment manufacturer that was established in 2012.
According to ABG managing director and owner Mike Burton, the acquisition will strengthen and expand the finishing equipment manufacturer’s web-based processing offerings, while also enabling it to enter new market segments with lower-level risk.
He said: “ABG and Kocher+Beck are successful family-led businesses, which are well-established in the world of narrow web and converting.
“We have worked successfully together for many years and we are confident that the time is right to lay the foundations of future growth by taking this important step together.”
Enprom offers a range of products, including equipment for shrink sleeve converting, slitting and rewinding, label finishing, coating and lamination and hybrid converting. Its headquarters are in Girona, near Barcelona.
