Germany-based All4Labels Global Packaging Group has entered into a partnership with ACTEGA, a division of speciality chemicals group Altana.
As part of this partnership, All4Labels will exclusively use ACTEGA’s Signite technology in the European market for the next decade and will allow both companies to support further development of Signite.
The latest collaboration is in line with All4Labels and ACTEGA’s shared commitment to revolutionise the labelling industry with a sustainable ‘no label look’ solution.
All4Labels CEO Paloma Alonso said: “We promote continuous and sustainable investment in research and development across the board to provide our customers with comprehensive support, guide the development of labels and promote sustainable decisions.
“Our partnership with ACTEGA is heading in exactly this direction: this innovative technology will open huge opportunities, even for markets that do not use labels today.
“This breakthrough solution not only significantly reduces waste and improves recyclability and reuse, but also offers tremendous design flexibility for brand owners.”

By GlobalDataAll4Labels describes Signite as a decoration technology primarily designed to minimise waste by eliminating printing substrates.
It also provides enhanced design flexibility and the reuse of glass, plastic, or aluminium containers.
ACTEGA said the technology can significantly minimise waste when compared to traditional pressure-sensitive labelling.
ACTEGA division president Thorsten Kröller said: “We see All4Labels as the ideal and strong partner to further develop this innovative technology and bring it first to the European market.
“All4Labels will help brand owners achieve their sustainability targets as well as achieve unique aesthetics for premium labelling. I am convinced that the agreement will have a huge impact on the transformation of the industry in alignment with the vision of our sustainability roadmap at ACTEGA.”
Recently, All4Labels acquired Brazilian pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, and booklet manufacturing company Uniflexo.
