By GlobalDataThe chosen design for the beverage segment offers a rib-less option with a vacuum-absorbing base. The spirits and wine bottle can be distributed in multipacks with an inner-locking design feature.
The five bottle concepts featured in the Bottles of the Year programme highlight designs that cater to evolving consumer preferences and incorporate the latest technology in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic to deliver more responsible packaging.
Each bottle features an “a” mark which stands for Amcor, to represent the company’s craftmanship.
The bottle designs featured in the programme are the result of cross-functional collaboration among Amcor’s marketing, industrial design, in-house studio design and product development teams.
Amcor vice-president of research and development, sustainability and product management Terry Patcheak commented: “Our designers are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with packaging, and we are proud to highlight their work through this programme.”
The company recently announced that it now incorporates more than 90% recycled tin content into its premium tin capsules and sparkling foils.
