Antalis Packaging has strengthened its bespoke offering by investing in a new Zund high-performance cutter G3 L-2300 at its head office in Coalville, Leicestershire, England.

The installation of the new cutting table is part of the company’s expansion plans for its packaging division.

Available for use from 1 July, The Zund cutter is a dual module cut and crease cutting table with a maximum cutting size of 1,800mm x 3,200mm.

“This is a significant investment in the future of our packaging division, which will essentially establish Antalis as a packaging manufacturer.”

The design table will enable the Antalis team to create live samples for new and existing customers on-site to show how their packaging will look.

The bespoke packaging samples are expected to be turned around in around 24 hours.

Antalis packaging business development head John Garner said: “This is a significant investment in the future of our packaging division, which will essentially establish Antalis as a packaging manufacturer and gives customers the peace of mind of knowing all their packaging needs can be taken care of under one roof.

“Our new cutting table has made the process of creating this bespoke packaging a whole lot quicker and slicker as our team of over 15 packaging experts can now sit down with busy customers and bring their concept to life within a matter of hours.”

The new cutting table establishes Antalis as a packaging manufacturer.

The company’s ability to own the intellectual property rights to its designs will also offer a simpler, streamlined process of packaging design and production to customers.
