Aptar Beauty has introduced its new skincare packaging solution, NeoDropper, designed to improve precision and the consumer experience.

The dropper offers enhanced formula protection and a more controlled application, ensuring a new level of hygiene and precision in skincare routines.

The product is dispensed by pressing the bulb, which draws the formula into the applicator, ready for a precise application with a second press.

This design prevents direct contact between the applicator and the formula, safeguarding against retro-contamination by bacteria.

Aptar Beauty claims that its dropper is engineered to deliver the correct dose to address the requirement of precision dosing.

NeoDropper was subjected to rigorous laboratory tests, which confirmed its effectiveness in protecting the product’s integrity while also avoiding spillage even if the bottle is overturned, noted the company.

The packaging delivers adequate dosage with a simple squeeze, and its short applicator prevents overflow, offering an optimal user experience.

NeoDropper’s upper and lower collars are customisable to meet branding needs, including anodising colours, double anodisation, brushed effects, silk-screening, lacquering, and metal branding.

The bulb can also be customised in colour, finish, and even metallisation.

Aptar Beauty Global Marketing & Innovation vice-president Xavier Joseph said: “We have created NeoDropper after a thorough study of consumers’ needs and desires in the face care experience. We look forward to partnering with premium and prestige skincare brands in order to have consumers enjoying this innovation.”

Aptar Beauty has paired NeoDropper with the Oslo II bottle from Heinz Glas, ensuring compatibility with existing dropper bottles in the market.

The packaging is claimed to be compatible with glass recycling streams, subject to local capabilities.

Production of NeoDropper Classic is expected to begin in November 2024.
