Aptar, a manufacturer of dispensing closure solutions, has inaugurated its new Intelligent Production and Research & Development (R&D) Base in Suzhou, China.
This facility is set to become a high-tech, advanced manufacturing hub for the company in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
According to the company, the base consolidates eight separate and dated workshops into a single, modern site.
The new hub will cater to all of Aptar’s segments, enabling the company to improve its connection with customers in all Asian markets.
The site’s opening event was a dual celebration, commemorating both the launch of the new facility and Aptar’s 30th anniversary in Suzhou.
It was attended by Aptar president and CEO Stephan Tanda, as well as the company’s executive committee and China team, alongside representatives from customers, suppliers, partners, and local government officials.
