Metal packaging firm Ball has developed a new 360° aerosol can for perfume and cosmetic packaging, which will be introduced at the ADF&PCD exhibition in Paris, France, next week.
The company has designed the can by integrating its graphics expertise with new shaping technology to make it visually engaging from every angle.
According to the company, the aerosol technology provides a new dimension to can contouring, offering an advantage to brand owners and customers.
Ball global innovations director Jason Galley said: “360° brings can design to the next level, as varied shaping is available around the entire circumference of the can.
“The recessed area goes beyond visual engagement – it also provides ergonomic benefits to the customer. The shaped area can be oriented in a way that provides the consumer with grip, a feature that comes in handy with products where slippage is a usability concern.”
Ball will offer its extensive product portfolio at the ADF&PCD exhibition to be held on 30-31 January. It also presents the advantages of a 360° aerosol can and aluminium aerosol packaging to visitors.
The company noted that aluminium aerosol cans are an ideal packaging format for personal care and household products.
Ball offers sustainable packaging solutions for various industries, including beverage, personal care and household products customers. It currently has a global workforce of 17,500 employees.
