Global aluminium packaging company Ball Corporation has revealed plans to develop a new aluminium end manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky, US.
Scheduled to commence production in early-2022, the new plant will serve the regional and national customers and supply infinitely recyclable and lightweight aluminium.
Ball has picked Bowling Green for the new facility considering its proximity to main distribution routes and existing supply chain partners.
The city is also close to its regional labour base and the cooperation of state, regional and local officials.
Ball aims to invest more in the facility over multiple years to install additional end modules.
The facility is expected to generate approximately 200 manufacturing jobs.
