Bosch Packaging Technology has introduced a vertical bagger with Doy Zip functionality for nut, chocolate and confectionery manufacturers.
The new SVE 2520 DZ has been developed based on the SVE platform to produce 100 quality Doy Zip bags a minute.
Bosch Packaging Technology engineering and design manager Patrick Lagarde said: "Bosch re-engineered the vertical form, fill and seal machine based on the well-proven SVE platform to give manufacturers the branding potential of high-quality Doy Zip bags with minimal footprint."
The machine can produce bags in seven different formats, including pillow, gusseted, block bottom, corner seal, full corner, three-sided and doy.
The company claims that the quality, attractive shape and glossy finish of Doy Zip bags would help drive greater visibility and consumer preference for food products at the point-of-sale.
The reclosing feature will enable protection of contents in the bag for future consumption, while contributing to consumer convenience and enhanced brand loyalty.
