Bosch Packaging Technology is set to introduce its new Osgood RFS-Series rotary system in North America.

Scheduled to be unveiled at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2017, the device is designed to hygienically fill and seal dairy and food products into pre-made cups.

Osgood Industries sales director Rich Mueller said: “This machine is a perfect example how the North American market can benefit from Osgood and Bosch collaboration on product development.

“The best solutions from teams across the globe are brought together, making the products better, more efficient, and complete product line solutions from one service provider, much easier to deliver.”

The Osgood RFS-Series servo rotary machine is equipped with multiple features and takes up minimal production space.

Available in both clean and ultra-clean variants, the four-lane RFS-4001 is capable of filling up to 160 cups per minute.

The RFS-4001 comes with a harmonised pump design to enhance accuracy and compatibility with different machines.

Its upgraded servo motors allow users to make quick and easy adjustments to the device, with a complete changeover time of around 15 minutes.

The RFS-Series filler can be fitted with Bosch Rexroth, Rockwell or Siemens machine controls that will allow the user to integrate the machine into their existing production lines.

The Osgood RFS can be upgraded with the latest HMI 4.0, which automatically offers guidance to users.
