Budweiser has introduced new bottles and cans featuring the names of 11 US states, as part of a new summer packaging initiative.
The states that would be featured on the bottles and cans are California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas and Virginia.
Budweiser plans to make the new bottles and cans available in the states from July to September.
As part of the latest initiative, the company has replaced the ‘Budweiser’ name on the cans and bottles with each state name, while the centre medallion ‘AB’ monogram is updated with the state's initials.
Among other changes, the Budweiser slogan ‘King of Beers’ has been replaced with the motto of each individual state.
Besides the new packaging, Budweiser has started various other initiatives to celebrate local breweries throughout the summer season.
