Closure Systems International (CSI) has launched its new one-piece closure portfolio that comprises an ergonomic design for optimised drinking comfort and a consumer-friendly comfortable grip.
The company noted that the new product portfolio allows for easy-opening convenience and also supports source reduction.

The lightweight, high-performance products have been designed to provide a total closure solution for brand owners.
The portfolio is expected to reduce the total cost of operations for bottlers.
Under the portfolio, the product offerings introduced by CSI include 38D-KL, HF-Lok V 33mm/38mm, Sport Flip Top 38mm, Asepti-Lok V 38mm 2S/3S, and Omni mini XP 28mm.
38D-KL, which features advanced tamper evidence, will serve a range of cold/ambient-filled liquid dairy and non-carbonated markets such as refrigerated milk, juices, teas and high-pressure processing (HPP) applications.
It can be used with 38mm triple-lead finishes on HDPE and PET packages.
Compatible with 9001-5533 (33mm) and 9001-4138D (38mm) bottle finishes, HF-Lok is lightweight and offers better performance for hot-filled non-carbonated beverages.
Meanwhile, Sport Flip Top, which is suitable for active, on-the-go, hot-filled non-carbonated beverages segment, including juices, sports drinks and functional waters, has one-hand opening for on-the-go convenience.
CSI has incorporated dual tamper evidence in this product to offer maximised security.
According to the company, Asepti-Lok is an ideal closure for juices, nectars, sports drinks and liquid dairy products. It has a three-point seal design, covering outside, top and inside, to ensure the integrity of the product.
Asepti-Lok also features a lube-free design to increase bottling plant production efficiency.
Omni mini offers high sealing performance of up to 4.7 volume and is meant for sparkling beverages.
