Pulp paper packaging distributor Central National Gottesman’s (CNG) division Spicers Paper has acquired Kilmer, Wagner & Wise (KWW) Paper Company.

The companies have not disclosed the financial details of the transaction.

KWW’s portfolio includes corrugated products, stretch film, tapes, adhesives and industrial packaging products.

CNG president and CEO Andrew Wallach said: “Our North American Distribution business is focused on accelerating our growth in the packaging industry.

“The acquisition of KWW further enhances our capabilities and provides a broader range of packaging products and solutions to both new and existing customers.”

Spicers Paper will add KWW to its existing packaging portfolio. The acquisition is expected to enhance Spicers’ existing business Premiere Packaging Industries (PPI).

In May, Spicers Paper acquired California-based full-line packaging supply distributor PPI.

PPI has been in business since 1999 and manufactures custom and stock corrugated and poly products used in manufacturing and large-scale distribution operations.

Spicers president Jan Gottesman said: “Combining these two legacy packaging companies allows us to offer a wider range of products to our customers.

“We look forward to welcoming the KWW team to Spicers / PPI as we continue to expand our packaging business throughout the West.”

Operating in the Western US, Spicers Paper is a privately held, independent paper merchant.

The family owned KWW is based in Garden Grove, Southern California. It has been operating in paper and packaging distribution for almost 65 years.
